On the eve of the singer was hospitalized in a hospital in the island of Sao Vicente due to heart failure and breathing problems. In late September, Cesaria Evora has announced his retirement due to health problems. Fame came to Cesária Evora in 43 years, when she recorded the first album in Portugal, although she began to sing in 17 years – she has performed in bars of Mindelo in Cape Verde. Worldwide fame brought her fourth album, “Miss Perfumadu”, released in 1992.
